Harrisonburg, VA   It’s always hard to share sad news. Last week the Turks lost a dear friend, William (Bill) Swecker. Bill served on the Turks Board of Directors with former General Manager Jim Lineweaver for 20 years and then helped current GM Bob Wease for a number of years. Bill loved the Turks and enjoyed interacting with the players and all of the fans. He was proud to be a part of providing great baseball for the Harrisonburg community. The Harrisonburg Turks extend their condolences to his longtime companion Nancy Bryant, and the rest of his family.
