Coach Pollock was a former student-athlete at West Virginia University Institute of Technology, graduating in December 2021, and winning a Golden Glove Award in 2019.

Pollock also played at Garrett Community College from August 2016 to May 2018 as a starter for two seasons. He also won Co-Male Athlete of the Year with the college in 2017.

Working at the Garrett Community College Baseball Camps for two years, Pollock worked as an infield instructor, then later worked with the Rockingham County Baseball League’s Stuarts Draft Diamondbacks as a player and coach during the 2021 season, where he played in the RBCL Championship.

Pollock earned his undergraduate degree in athletic coach education with a minor in sports management.
