Gerald Harman is entering his first season as Team President of the Harrisonburg Turks.  A native of Mount Solon, VA, Harman went to his first Valley League game in 1974, when the Turks hosted the New Market Rebels. He’s been involved in the league since the fall of 2003 when he became the recruiting coordinator for the Luray Wranglers. Since then, he’s worked with three more VBL teams, (Staunton Braves, Waynesboro Generals, and Woodstock River Bandits) and is a member of the VBL Hall of Fame committee. Outside of the Valley League, Harman is a fan of the Cincinnati Reds, collects sports cards and memorabilia, and enjoys being with his family. He’s the youngest of three sons and has one nephew, two nieces, four great nephews, three great nieces and one great, great niece. He’s also engaged to Lisa Clark. We are very excited to have Gerald as our Team President this season and beyond!
