6/8/03 The TURKS defeated the Luray Wranglers in their first away game of the summer. David Marlett, Rene’ Rivera and Moises Duran all contributed to the TURKS victory by hitting 1 Home Run each. The TURKS pitched 5 innings of scorless baseball as they went on to beat the Wranglers 6-3.

6/6/03 Despite their eleven hits, the TURKS were unable to pull off a victory against the Lumberjacks on June 6th. Covington outscored the TURKS 9-7 with four runs scored in the first Inning.
