The TURKS defeated the Lumberjacks 9-1 last night to make up for their 5-3 loss to Covington on Sunday. Harrisonburg had 12 hits to Covington’s 3. Moises Duran, David Marlett and Daniel Brooks led the TURKS offense with 2 hits each. Greg Nesbitt pitched 6 innings tallying only 1 hit and 10 strike outs. The TURKS are now tied with the Braves for the top spot in the southern division.
