The TURKS won both games of the double header against the Generals. During the first game, Cliff Pennington led the offense by hitting 3 for 4 and scoring 2 runs. Greg Nesbitt pitched 7 innings of scoreless baseball tallying 1 hit and 5 strike outs. Cliff Pennington also led the TURKS’ offense during the second game, hitting 2 for 4. Cliff also pitched 2.2 innings tallying 2 hits 2 walks and 2 strike outs. The TURKS won the games 4-0 and 4-2.
