Georgia Tech lost this weekend’s series to North Carolina State 2-1. INF Thomas Nichols continues to lead his team with a .375 batting average.

Friday’s game against NC state, Nichols led Ga. Tech at the plate batting 2-for-4. Nichols hit two home runs to make 9 for the season so far. Nichols also added three RBI’s to his numbers. This game was Nichols’ second multi-home run game of the season. Saturday’s game, Nichols was walked twice but added a run to his hitting totals.

Overall, Nichols has a .375 batting average (tied for first with two other teammates) with 38 runs, 48 hits, 11 doubles, 9 HR and 33 RBIs. In the field, Nichols has a .950 percentage with 14 POs and 5 assists.
