Eric Kalbfleish and Thomas Smith Named Co-Turks Players of Week Seven

Turks All-star leftfielder Eric Kalbfleisch (UNC Greensboro) and fellow All-star infielder Thomas Smith (GA Tech) will share the Turks Player of the Week honors for the past week.  Kalbfleisch hit a blistering .542 with 13 hits, made several big catches and delivered clutch two-out hits.  Smith however was not to be outdone as had his best week of the season as well, hitting .450 with eight runs batted in.  Smith also drew 8 walks to go with his 9 hits equaling a gigantic .593 on-base percentage.

RJ Perucki had his best week of the season as well hitting .444.  Mike Warren capped a poor week (for him) with the biggest hit of the Turks season, a walk-off grand slam to secure a doubleheader sweep of Rockbridge on Sunday night.

Way to go guys!  You had the Turks fans up off their seats all week!
