Valley League Playoffs Set to Start Sunday
The 2013 VBL playoffs are scheduled to begin on Sunday, July, 28th. Round One is the best two out of three series. The highest seed teams have home field advantage. The format is #1 vs #4 and #2 vs #3. The Southern Division is set and will look like this:
Sunday, July 28th Harrisonburg hosts Waynesboro @ JMU Veterans Memorial Park game time is 7:30 pm while New Market hosts Staunton @ Rebel Park game time is 7:30 pm. On Monday, July 29th Waynesboro will host Harrisonburg @ Kate Collins Middle School game time is 7:00 pm and Staunton will host New Market at John Moxie Stadium game time is 7:30 pm If a game three is necessary then Tuesday, July 30th Harrisonburg will host Waynesboro again @ 7:30 pm and New Market will host Staunton @ 7:30 pm.
The semi-finals is also a best two out of three series and the highest seed teams continue to have home field advantage. The Championship series is scheduled to be a best three out of five series between the Southern Division winner and the Northern Division winner.

Remember that NO passes that the Harrisonburg Turks provided during the regular season are accepted for the playoffs. This means the red regular season passes, the Turks little league passes, the MRL reading passes, any single game passes, life time passes, etc. are not good for any playoff game. The Turks organization hopes that all of the people that have enjoyed being our guests and coming to the games free during the regular season will continue to come out to the games and support your Harrisonburg Turks!
Adult admission is $5.00 College students with I.D. is $3.00 Seniors 65 and up is $2.00 Children 12 and under is $1.00
Admission to the games is a very inexpensive evening of entertainment and fun for you and your family so please come out to the JMU Veterans Memorial Park and cheer your Turks on as they try to “repeat” and win the 2013 Valley Baseball League Championship!
