Two of the newest Turks join the club from smaller schools and add depth to the roster.

Catcher Trevor Denton plays at Pitt Community College where he hit .232 and had a errorless season behind the plate.  Trevor is a rising sophomore and bats and throws right handed.  He is 6′ tall and weighs 190 pounds.  He is from Mechanicsville, VA so hopefully some Trevor Fans will come join Turks Nation in the ‘Burg.

 Infielder Ryan Phillips joins the Turks after beginning the season with the Charles Town Cannons.  He plays collegiately for Tennessee
Wesleyan a strong NAIA  program.  Ryan will also be a Sophomore when he returns in the fall.  He hit .355 and made just one error in the field
while with Charles Town.  Phillips is 6′ and 175 pounds, bats right and throws right.  A native of Richmond, VA, the Valley League is a good fit for summer ball.
