We continue our player introductions with a pair from NAIA Oklahoma City University. When Bob Wease started working with Turks GM Jim Lineweaver in 1989, Oklahoma City University’s Assistant Coach Keith Lytle was the coach of the Turks. A lifelong friendship developed between Wease and Lytle which proved truly special, not only for the two men but also for the Harrisonburg team. After Mr. Lineweavers’ death in 1990, Wease acquired the Turks. When recruiting, he turned to Lytle and began to build a pipeline that has stood strong through the last 30 years.
Coach Lytle is sending left-hand pitcher Jacob Wright and outfielder Cross Factor to Harrisonburg for the 2020 season.
Jacob Wright stands 6’6″ and weighs 230 pounds. The junior is from Cass City, Michigan.
Cross Factor transferred to OCU after playing at Oklahoma State last year. The 6-1 185 pound junior is from Yukon, Oklahoma. Factor is majoring in Business Administration.
