We welcome first baseman/outfielder, Jordan Sweeney, from Rutgers University. The 6-5, 215 pound freshman is from Egg Harbor Twp, NJ. Sweeney played four years of varsity ball at Egg Harbor Twp High School and earned accolades of First Team All-State, First Team All-South Jersey and First Team All-CAL in 2017 after hitting .467 with 10 doubles, nine home runs and 46 RBIs. He plans to major in exercise science.

Sweeney has played in four of the six games so far this season for the Scarlet Knights. He’s got a .400 batting average with five at bats, two hits, and two RBIs.
