The TURKS beat the Staunton Braves in Harrisonburg to take back the top spot in the southern division. Collectively, the TURKS had 7 hits to Stanton’s 8 which turned this game into a nail biter. The TURKS scored 5 runs in the fifth to take a 6-1 lead. Staunton’s Joe Koshansky hit a home run in the 9th scoring 3 runs and cutting the lead down to 1. Pitcher Grant Hansen had difficulty closing the game allowing 4 walks and 1 hit.
