The TURKS beat the Staunton Braves 5-2 after losing to them to night before. Jeff Van Houten led the TURKS’ offense by hitting 3 for 3 and scoring 2 runs. Pat Reilly also had a great offensive performance hitting 2 for 3. E.J. Shanks pitched 8 innings of which 6 were scoreless.
