Robinson Named Pioneer League MVP

Clint Robinson,Harrisonburg Turk Alumni 2005-2006, the 25th round draft pick of the Kansas City Royals, has been named the Pioneer League Most Valuable Player! Robinson, coming off a 364/449/661 senior season at Troy, signed quickly with the Royals and started his pro career for the Idaho Falls Chukars. He has put up amazing numbers over 60 games so far (the Chukars are still in the playoffs), hitting 341/397/599 in 232 at-bats. He’s hit even better over the last 10 games, going 14-34 (.412), with 2 doubles, 2 home runs, and 13 RBI. Congratulations Clint!
