Drew Granier Named Player of the Week (Week 1) for Harrisonburg Turks

Drew Granier (Louisiana-Monroe) was named the Player of the Week for the first week of the Harrisonbug Turks season. For the week Granier had one victory in 15 innings pitched, allowing four earned runs on eight hits and five walks while striking out 13 batters. He threw a complete game against the Covington Lumberjacks getting the victory while allowing one earned run on two hits and two walks, and he struck out eight Covington batters.

Connor Winn Named Player of the Week (Week 2) for Harrisonburg Turks

Connor Winn (Georgia Tech) was named the week two Player of the Week for the Harrisonburg Turks. He could not have picked a better time to go on a hot hitting streak, as his family was in attendance for a couple of the Turks games. During the week, Connor went 7 for 19 for a .368 batting average and had five walks to give him a .500 on-base percentage. Connor had three doubles, six runs batted in, scored six runs, and stole three bases. In the game against the Staunton Braves, Winn went 4 for 4 with a double, two runs scored, four runs batted in, and a stolen base.
